Does my relationship need to be at-risk of ending to seek therapy?
No. A symptom of healthy couples is being able to explore their relationship and continually grow closer to one another. Therapy is a great way to maintain and grow closeness with your partner. Couples therapy can also be more effective the earlier couples begin. Many couples wait an average of six years after problems arise before seeking therapy, often making it more difficult to repair years of relational wounds. Entering therapy early can help to not only repair wounds, but build a solid relationship foundation for a lifetime.
